Football Canada Aboriginal Football Outreach

Football Canada is dedicated to working with aboriginal communities through a number of outreach initiatives. Since the majority of aboriginal communities in Canada are located in remote regions, Football Canada provides a wide range of resources for community, player and coach development.

Some include:

  • Community-based programs (Gen7 Role Model Messenger)
  • Sport specific/player development (JPD, 6-A-Side Tackle, Touch and Flag Football Camps)
  • Coach and Officials training (NCCP and Work Placement Positions)

There are a number of organizations that partner with Football Canada, which include:

  • Aboriginal Sport Circle
  • Motivate Canada, Gen7, and Active Circle
