Brandon Bridge has done it all!

The quarterback of the Canadian Football League’s (CFL) Saskatchewan Roughriders has participated in the NFL Combine and netted an invitation to the Manning Passing Academy via a phone call from patriarch Archie Manning as well as Peyton Manning.

However, he has come into his own during his time leading the Roughriders’ offence.  Being one of the only Canadian players to play at the quarterback position in the league, Bridge made history this past September as he was the first quarterback in 30 years to throw three touchdown passes in the team’s win against the Hamilton Tiger Cats.

What many may not know is Bridge has a connection with Football Canada.  Back in 2009, he was one of the first quarterbacks for Team Canada at the Worlds Juniors in Canton,OH.

Recently, Bridge spent some time with Football Canada after a Roughriders practice in Ottawa.  In this video interview, the pivot touches on several different topics including his first introduction to the sport, role models, his reaction to making CFL history as well as his experience representing Canada in an international tournament, his thoughts about being in a rare breed of Canadian quarterbacks in the CFL and his All-Madden Team.

Moreover, the Ontario born quarterback offers advice to those athletes heading to the next World Junior Championship.

The following clip is Football Canada’s video interview with quarterback Brandon Bridge.
