Football players, coaches and officials to use new online tools

Football Canada has partnered with a pair of Canadian companies, GOALLINE Sports Administration Systems as well as Kinduct technologies to offer online solutions for its members.

National registry

Football Canada will work with GOALLINE, a company which specializes in sport management software to create a national online registry in addition to registration solutions for its national teams and national championships including the Football Canada Cup.

“As a soft launch, the participants of this July’s 2015 Football Canada Cup will mark the first group to use the new online registry,” said Football Canada Executive Director, Shannon Donovan.

The registry will be introduced later this year.

“Depending on one’s respective league’s start times, over the next 12 months participants will become introduced to the online system when signing up for their local team, association or club.”

The company behind the Football Canada national registry is excited to launch its technology on the gridiron.

“GOALLINE is extremely excited to partner with Football Canada in growing the game across the country,” said GOALLINE Vice President, Mike Johnson. “Establishing a national online registry is the first step towards streamlining technologies and the online experience for its members and fans.”

High performance fitness tracking and management

In partnership with Kinduct technologies, a company which specializes in health, wellness and human performance solutions, Football Canada is also creating a fitness management and tracking solution for its high performance programs which will compliment the GOALLINE system.

Under the new platform, Football Canada national team members from across the country will soon be able to manage and record their progress in the weight room in real time using a mobile device. In addition, players will also be able to interact and receive feedback from the national team’s coaching staff while their off-season activities are being monitored by their strength and conditioning coach.

“The ability to track and monitor our national team athletes from across the country through one platform is very exciting for our national team programs,” added Donovan. “Hopefully one day we’ll be able to compare athlete’s progress as they move from the pre-university level to the university or junior ranks and continue to monitor their progress as they make the push to the NFL and CFL levels.”
