Noah Pelletier is a quarterback from Regina, Saskatchewan who will be competing at the 2018 International Bowl as a member of the Under-16 Western Canadian Team.

The Saskatchewan standout began playing flag football at the age of six.

Since that time, Pelletier has competed in Regina Minor Football as he suited up for both the Lions and Patriots.  Currently, the quarterback is heading up the offence for the Balfour Collegiate Redmen of the Regina Intercollegiate Football League (RIFL).

During his career, the offensive talent experienced a couple of special moments on the gridiron.

“Last year, I played spring league and I had a really good team and we ended up getting first place,” recalled Pelletier.  “Also, this year’s high school season; we went from one win, six losses to six wins one loss this year.”

Another highlight took place this past July when Pelletier helped Team Saskatchewan claim the bronze medal at the Under-16 Western Challenge in Lethbridge, Alberta.

“It was a good experience for me,” reflected the quarterback of the tournament.  “I liked learning all the new things and seeing what it would be like to play post-secondary football.”

As for role models, Pelletier said his father, coaches and teammates inspire and motivate him to be the best on and off the field.

When the pivot learned he made the national team, he was excited and felt that the International Bowl would be “something fun” to do in 2018.

“It’s very important to my family to represent my country,” said Pelletier of the event.
