Canada Cup: Glen Mills to return as Team Ontario Head Coach in 2015

The Ontario Football Alliance announced on November 14 that Glen Mills will return as Team Ontario head coach at the 2015 Football Canada Cup. Mills will also serve as head coach of Team Canada’s under-18 squad at the 2015 International Bowl, an event in which he’s previously served the same role with Team O. Mills is also a long-time coach with the Essex Ravens based in the Windsor, Ontario area.

HEAD COACH: Glen Mills – Essex Ravens

Glen Mills will once again return as Head Coach of Team Ontario as they look to defend their 2014 National Championship. Mills is currently the Head Coach of the Perennial Powerhouse Essex Ravens, a position he has held since 1998, leading the team to 6 championship appearances, winning in 1998, 2002, and 2010. In 2014, Mills led Team Ontario to a 36-0 win over Nova Scotia, a 30-16 win over Quebec, and defeated the home town Team Saskatchewan 27-19 to capture Ontario’s first National Championship since 2004. In 2013, Mills led Team Ontario to a bronze medal in Moncton, New Brunswick.    Mills was an assistant coach with Team Ontario from 2002 to 2009 winning 3 National Championships.  Mill’s championship winning pedigree is sure to help this year’s squad in winning the Football Canada Cup.
