Position: Administrative Assistant

Location: Ottawa, Ontario

Job Description:

Football Canada is seeking a dynamic, detail-oriented individual to serve as Administrative Assistant in a high energy, fast-paced environment. This individual will report to the Executive Director. The Administrative Assistant is responsible for providing administrative support for the National Office Staff, the Board of Directors, and to the members of Football Canada. He/she is also the front line contact with the general public, and as such, must present strong communication and customer relations skills.

Key areas of responsibility include:

1) Office Administration 2) Product Sales 3) Office Inventory 4) Accounts Receivables and Payables 5) Shipping and Receiving

Qualifications:

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications and attributes:

• Minimum two years administrative experience
• Strong computer skills with proficiency in MS Office and some experience with Access, PowerPoint, Adobe Illustrator and quick books considered as an asset
• Strong organization skills, multi-tasking and problem-solving capabilities, with the ability to meet deadlines with minimal supervision in a team environment
• Ability to communicate in both official languages considered an asset
• Ability and willingness to work some extended hours

Salary Range: Salary for this position is commensurate with experience and qualifications

Type of Position: Part-time 12:30pm – 4:30pm
