2021 Atlantic Canada Flag Football Championships

CHARLOTTETOWN, P.E.I. — Football P.E.I. is hosting the 2021 Atlantic flag football championships at UPEI on Aug. 13 and 14. Games, featuring entries from Prince Edward Island, Nova Scotia and New Brunswick, begin on Aug. 13 at 10 a.m., with the playoffs beginning on Aug. 14 at 1 p.m. The gold-medal games will follow at 3 and 4 p.m. “Having been fortunate enough to get in three football seasons during the pandemic (two flag and one tackle), we are happy to be able compete against our neighbours on the mainland,” said Football P.E.I. president Aaron MacIsaac. “All the hard work put in by our staff and volunteers, as well as all the parents and athletes over the past 18 months, makes being able to host a regional exhibition such as this that much more satisfying.” (Saltwire, August 12, 2021, link)
