Football Canada Launches Silent Auction to Support Team Canada’s Flag Football Teams on the Road to LA28

Ottawa, ON — November 12th — Football Canada has launched a nationwide Silent Auction in support of Canada’s Men’s and Women’s National Flag Football Teams as they prepare for the 2028 Olympic Games in Los Angeles.

Flag football is one of the fastest-growing sports in the world, and its inclusion in LA28 represents a once-in-a-generation opportunity for Canadian athletes to compete for Olympic gold. But unlike many competing nations with robust sources of funding, Canada’s national flag athletes still pay thousands of dollars out-of-pocket to represent their country on the international stage.
