Team Canada National Women’s Team Final Roster Set for Finland
The National Women’s Football Weekend of 2022 is in the rear view and there was no shortage of excitement throughout. On May 6th National Team Identification Camps, we started with 136 athletes fighting for a spot on the Team Canada roster competing in Finland at the IFAF Women’s World Championship this summer.
The 136-woman roster was then reduced to 81 as each athlete fought for their position on Team Canada’s final roster. These 81 athletes then competed in the Red White Game to close out the weekend in Ottawa.
And now, we finally have the official Team Canada final roster!

Team Canada will compete in the tournament along with defending champions Team USA, as well as teams from Finland, Mexico, Sweden, Australia, Germany and Great Britain.
The tournament will be held in Vantaa, Finland from July 28th to August 8th.
