Football Canada seeks applications for Flag National Team Athletic Therapists

JOB DESCRIPTION
Football Canada is accepting applicants for Athletic Therapists for its National Team programs (Flag specific). There will be separate Athletic Therapists for the men’s and women’s program; however, applicants may feel free to apply for both. Football Canada is looking to have a consistent therapist for each program, therapists that can do all events are preferred.

USA Football Adult Friendly Invitational Tournament
- June 17th – June 22nd

2025 IFAF Americas Championship
- September 08th – September 15th
- Panama City, Panama

The team therapist will work closely with national team coaches and national office staff.
The selected candidates will be responsible for providing a positive experience through their leadership of a competitive flag football program that values respect, teamwork and achievement.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Certified Athletic Therapist, in good standing with the CATA; Physical Therapist with Sport Physiotherapy Canada.
- Hold valid First Responder and BLS Certificates (these will include CPR and AED training)
- Experience as a Certified Athletic Therapist/Sports Physiotherapist
- 4+ years of experience as a Certified Athletic Therapist/ Sports Physiotherapist with high-performance sport programs
