How to watch Canada at the 2026 IFAF Flag Football World Championships
CBC GEM, CBC Sports website, CBC Sports YouTube channel and ICI TOU.TV, DAZN and IFAF Flag Football World Championships official Youtube channel, will broadcast Canada’s Senior Men’s and Women’s National Flag Football Team on August 13–16
OTTAWA, ON – Canada’s Senior Men’s and Women’s National Flag Football teams are headed to Germany this week to participate in the 2026 IFAF Flag Football World Championships taking place August 13–16 in Düsseldorf, Germany. Excitement is brewing across the country, and Canadians will be able to catch all Canadian matches and post-match coverage on:
- CBC Gem, CBC Sports website, CBC Sports YouTube channel (English) and ICI TOU.TV (French)* French commentary will be added to Field 1 on the final day. All the other games will have international sound.
- DAZN
- IFAF Flag Football World Championships official Youtube channel.
This marks the first Olympic qualification opportunity ahead of the LA28 Games.
The 2026 IFAF Flag Football World Championships features a total of 32 teams representing 19 nations. The tournament splits evenly into 16 men’s teams and 16 women’s teams with the Canadian Senior Women’s team opening against Panama, and the Senior Men’s team opening against Austria. Each team will be vying for one of the three spots available that would give them a berth to the 2028 LA Olympics.
