INDIGENOUS LOGO MERCHANDISE NOW ON SALE

FUNDRAISER FOR INDIGENOUS FOOTBALL STARTING THIS WEEKEND

OTTAWA – Orders are now being taken for merchandise with the new Football Canada Indigenous Logo, which was revealed last month.

The logo, titled “Our Home on Sacred Land” was created by Indigenous artist Kolten Khasalus Grant, of Squamish, B.C., and was designed to serve as a national identity for football in indigenous communities across Canada, and an alternate brand for all football in Canada.

Items available to be ordered at footballcanadashop.ca include T-shirts (ranging from $29.99-$39.99) and sweatshirts (from $59.99 – $69.99). Orders will be taken for a limited time only, so members of the public are advised to act quickly.

Net proceeds raised from the sale of the goods will go to support football development among First Nations and Northern communities.
