Penonomé, Coclé Province, Panama – Team Canada’s Men’s National Flag Football Team is set to compete at the 2025 IFAF Americas Continental Championship, running from September 12–14 at Estadio Virgilio Tejeira Andrión.
The tournament, led by the International Federation of American Football (IFAF), brings together the top men’s and women’s national teams from North, Central, and South America, as well as the Caribbean. It represents a major milestone for the sport in the region, serving as both one of the most important events on the international flag football calendar and a stepping stone toward the IFAF Flag Football World Championships and the 2028 Olympic Games in Los Angeles.
Canada enters the men’s competition in Pool A, opening their campaign against Guatemala before facing Brazil, Colombia, and defending continental champions USA. The squad is looking to build on their recent success at the 2025 International Bowl, where they went 4-0, and make a strong statement on the continental stage.
