The Challenge
Right now, our national flag football athletes pay thousands of dollars out of pocket just to represent Canada on the international stage. Flights, accommodations, training camps, and tournament fees all come at a personal cost — not because of a lack of dedication, but a lack of funding.
While our athletes balance work, school, and family commitments, they also carry the financial burden of competing for their country. In contrast, many of the teams we face receive full government or institutional support, allowing them to focus entirely on preparation and performance.

The Goal
- Remove barriers to excellence — Ensure the best athletes can represent Canada without financial limitations.
- Invest in preparation and performance — Cover the costs of world-class uniforms, gear, training infrastructure, and coaching development.
- Fuel year-round growth — Fund ongoing training, travel, and competition opportunities that build chemistry and elevate performance.
- Expand high-performance support — Strengthen access to nutrition, strength & conditioning, and mental performance resources.
- Build a lasting culture of pride — Strengthen Canada’s national identity in flag football through unity, commitment, and pursuit of excellence.
