Football Canada is excited to be seeking applications to be nominated to the Football Canada Athlete Council. Mandate The Athlete
Our Senior Women’s National Team consists of the best female players from across the country, competing in international games and tournaments.
Established in 2010, the IFAF Women’s World Championship is scheduled to take place every four years, featuring top senior women’s teams from around the world. Team Canada has finished second in all of their appearances at this event. The next Women’s World Championship is scheduled to be held in Finland July 30th to August 7th, 2022.

Please note that, due to ongoing COVID restrictions, the provincial/regional ID camps have been cancelled.
Registration: CLOSED
Age Restriction: Must be 18 years of age as of December 31, 2021.
Location: We are confirming fields but will be at or near Carleton University the hotels/meeting facilities will be around the airport.
Travel: Travel to and from the Camp is the responsibility of the ATHLETE.
CAMP FEE: $100 per participant (includes taxes) – Try out fee that will cover t-shirt, training, and field costs
*If you previously paid for the Regional ID camp, you should have received a discount code
ACCOMMODATIONS & MEALS: $450 per participant (includes taxes) – this will cover ground transportation to and from accommodations to practice facility, accommodations, and meals.

The Selection Committee will determine the 45-player roster after the selection camp and Red & White Game
The final roster selected will represent Canada at the World Championships in Finland from July 27–August 8, 2022.
