Ottawa, Ontario (June 6, 2023) — With youth flag football participation rates in Canada poised to soar, Football Canada, the national governing body for amateur tackle, touch and flag football, and MOJO, the award-winning youth sports platform based in Los Angeles, today announced an exciting new partnership to bring the power of technology to thousands of Canadian youth flag football players, their families and coaches.

The onboarding of MOJO to Football Canada’s flag football programs comes just after the announcement of a strategic partnership between Football Canada and NFL Canada, which calls for a renewed focus on growing youth participation over the next three years. MOJO will help Football Canada double-down on its commitment to creating cost-effective, safe programs that help introduce young athletes to flag football and develop and enhance skills through an inclusive and fun experience. As part of this landmark partnership. MOJO will also power Football Canada’s flag football program in schools. In both instances, Football Canada and MOJO will provide free, comprehensive access to the platform for coaches and teachers.

Launched in February 2021, the MOJO platform has been used by more than 5 million families and 25,000 organizations involved in youth sports in 189 countries around the world. Football Canada’s flag coaches and families will have access to MOJO’s age-appropriate how-to videos and easy-to-use practice planner, simplified team management tools and fan experience features. As part of the partnership, Football Canada will also leverage the MOJO app to build custom practice plans and training curriculum for its youth flag football coaches and players across the country.
