Football Canada Announces Senior Women’s Flag Roster ahead of 2025 World Games in Chengdu, China
Senior Women’s National Flag Team ready to represent Canada on the global stage
Ottawa, ON – July 17, 2025 – Football Canada is proud to announce the twelve athletes selected to represent Canada at the 2025 World Games in Chengdu, China, from August 7th to 17th as part of the Senior Women’s National Flag Football Team.

Held every four years, the World Games bring together elite athletes from around the world to compete in some of the fastest-growing sports globally. With flag football set to make its Olympic debut at Los Angeles 2028, the 2025 World Games in Chengdu serve as both a premier international competition and a key milestone on the road to the Olympics.
