Game Day: The 2024 U18 Women’s National Championship concludes today in Fredericton
Fredericton, NB – July 28, 2024 – Football Canada is thrilled to announce the final day of competition at the 2024 U18 Women’s National Championship at BMO Centre in Fredericton, New Brunswick. After exciting matches throughout the week, the rising football stars from across Canada are set to compete in their final games, determining the national champions and final standings.
Game Day Schedule: July 28th, 2024:
- 10:00 AM ADT – Game 9: 7th Place Playoff: New Brunswick vs Ontario Black
- 1:00 PM ADT – Game 10: 5th Place Playoff: Saskatchewan vs National Indigenous
- 4:00 PM ADT – Game 11: Bronze Medal Game: Québec vs Manitoba
- 7:00 PM ADT – Game 12: Gold Medal Game: Alberta vs Ontario Red
Canadian football fans who cannot attend in person can catch all the action live on Football Canada’s YouTube channel HERE, where all games will be streamed for free.
The championship concludes with the highly anticipated Gold Medal match between Alberta and Ontario Red. Both teams have showcased impressive skills throughout the tournament, with Alberta returning to defend their title and Ontario Red looking to upset the defending champions.
In the Bronze Medal game, Quebec and Manitoba will battle for a spot on the podium, while Saskatchewan and the National Indigenous team compete for 5th place. New Brunswick and Ontario Black will face off in the 7th place playoff to round out the tournament standings.
