by Braydon Stachel

Montreal, QC – May 29, 2025 – Football Canada and Football Québec, in partnership with Tourism Montreal, are proud to announce that the 2025 Senior Flag Football National Championships will take place from July 4–6 at Montreal’s Claude-Robillard Sports Complex.

The Senior Nationals represent the top level of adult flag football competition in Canada, bringing together independent men’s and women’s teams from across the country to compete for national titles.

This year’s edition introduces a new structure, with three competitive divisions: Pro, Competition, and Co-Ed. The Pro and Comp divisions offer guaranteed prize money, with additional prize growth tied to the number of registered teams. The Pro Division will feature a minimum of $2,000 per category, while the Competition Division will offer a minimum of $500 per category.

Pro Division games will be streamed live and on-demand through HomeTeam Network. A $20 digital pass will provide full access to all matches throughout the weekend.

Tickets are now available for advance purchase, with pre-sale rates of $5 per day or $10 for the weekend available until June 29. On-site pricing will be $10 per day or $20 for the weekend. Admission is free for volunteers and youth under the age of 18. Students may purchase tickets at a discounted rate of $5 with valid student ID.

Since its inception, the Senior Nationals have served as a launchpad for Canadian athletes aiming to compete at the international level. Past champions include the Braves de Montréal, Cayenne, Gamecocks, and Subzero, teams that reflect the depth of talent and regional pride embedded in this competition. As flag football continues to grow globally and prepares for its Olympic debut in 2028, this event remains a cornerstone of Canada’s national development pathway.

The Claude-Robillard Sports Complex, originally constructed for the 1976 Summer Olympics, will serve as the host venue. Centrally located and equipped to support high-level competition, it offers an ideal setting for athletes, coaches, and fans.

Team registration is open and accessible through TeamLinkt. Full event details, including hotel discounts, volunteer opportunities, and local travel recommendations, are outlined in the official event package.
