The 2024 edition of the U16 Eastern Regional Challenge touches down in Antigonish, Nova Scotia

Antigonish, NS – July 16, 2024 – Football Canada is thrilled to announce the 2024 U16 Eastern Challenge, kicking off today to 21st at Oland Stadium in Antigonish, Nova Scotia. Host province Nova Scotia, along with teams from New Brunswick, Quebec, and Ontario are set to reignite their provincial rivalries with game days on Thursday, July 18th and Sunday, July 21st.

Game Schedule:

July 18th, 2024
2:30 PM ADT – Game 1: Québec vs. New Brunswick
7:30 PM ADT – Game 2: Ontario vs. Nova Scotia

July 21st, 2024
1:00 PM ADT – Game 3 (Bronze Medal Game): Loser Game 2 vs. Loser Game 1
5:00 PM ADT – Game 4 (Gold Medal Game): Winner Game 1 vs. Winner Game 2

Canadian football fans who cannot attend in person can catch all the action live on Football Canada’s YouTube channel HERE, where all games will be streamed for free.

The U16 Eastern Challenge is a vital part of Football Canada’s development pathway, providing young athletes with the opportunity to compete in a tournament setting as they prepare for higher levels of competition, including the under-18 national tackle football championship and national team events.

Québec, a dominant force in the U16 Eastern Challenge, looks to add a 5th gold medal in the tournament after winning the top prize in the last four editions (2018, 2019, 2022, 2023).
