British Columbia faced-off against Ontario West in the bronze medal game at the 2011 Football Canada Cup from Lethbridge, Alberta.
The game began with a short B.C. opening kick-off which was recovered by Dmytro Povalyaev but B.C. was unable to capitalize on the recovery. A 42-yard punt single by Clark Green got Ontario West out to an early 1-0 lead.
On the final play of the opening quarter, B.C. quarterback Jordan Deverill connected with receiver Michael Carney on a 91-yard reception to set up a first and goal at the 7-yard line. One of the bright spots for Ontario West was running back Jordan Clout who ran for 117 yards on 21 carries.
