Football Canada seeks applications for National Team Athletic Therapist

JOB DESCRIPTION
Football Canada is accepting applicants for Team Therapist for its national team programs (Tackle and Flag)
2022 Events:
- 2022 Women’s National Final Selection Camp: May 5-8, Ottawa
- 2022 Women’s World Championship: July 20 – Aug. 8, Finland
The team therapist will work closely with national team coaches and national office staff.
The selected candidate will be responsible in providing a positive experience through their leadership of a competitive football program that values respect, teamwork and achievement.
Qualifications
- Certified Athletic Therapist, in good standing with the CATA; and member of their provincial athletic therapy association, in good standing. Physical Therapist with Sport Physiotherapy Canada.
- The therapist should be a sport first responder (this will include CPR and AED training).
- Experience as Certified Athletic Therapist/ Sports Physiotherapist in a contact sport environment, such as football, hockey, lacrosse, etc.
- 4+ years of experience as Certified Athletic Therapist/ Sports Physiotherapist with Provincial, Junior or U SPORTS football teams.
