by Rachel Lester

The Football Canada is proud to announce that it will be holding its annual National Coaches Convention Thursday July 10 and Friday July 11 in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan.
Established in 2011, the 2014 convention marks the first time that the event will be held in conjunction with the Football Canada Cup in an effort to bring the national coaching development opportunity to different provinces.
“We’re excited at the prospect of bringing this national coaching development opportunity across the country and Saskatoon is a great place to start,” said Football Canada technical coordinator, Aaron Geisler. “Coaching football is a continual learning process and the National Convention is a great way for coaches to supplement their knowledge and understanding of this great game.”
The National Coaches Convention is NCCP accredited meaning that those in attendance will be eligible for NCCP professional development credits.
The event will feature top local, provincial and national coaches who will present on various topics.
