TSN, Canada’s Sports Leader, alongside Football Canada and IFAF are excited to announce the re-broadcast of the highly anticipated 2024 IFAF U20 World Championship Gold Medal Game on July 3rd, 2024, at 7:30 PM ET on TSN5. Fans across the country can tune in to watch Canada face off against Japan to see who will lay claim to Junior Football’s top prize. 

Aiming for a ‘Threepeat’ on Home Soil 

The 2024 IFAF U20 World Championship, held in Edmonton, Alberta, from June 22-30, has seen the world’s best young football talent compete at the highest level. Team Canada, the reigning back-to-back champions, have demonstrated remarkable skill and determination, overcoming Brazil and Austria to reach the final. This year’s tournament has marked Canada’s quest for an unprecedented third consecutive championship title, a feat that has not been accomplished by any other nation.

The 2024 IFAF U20 World Championship marks Japan’s first appearance in the championship final, having earned their spot with an impressive upset victory over powerhouse United States. Both teams have displayed outstanding performances throughout the tournament, setting the stage for an electrifying finale at Commonwealth Stadium.
