The event’s first day, on Saturday, Oct. 16, will run from 10:30 a.m. (all times Eastern) to 4:30 p.m. The first session is scheduled to feature programs from Ontario and the Atlantic provinces. At 11:30, Dia Syed, the founder of Girls in Sport Alberta, will lead a session on how to start a program for women and girls. That will be followed by the second regional workshop, covering programs in Quebec and the West.

Afternoon sessions include discussions on high-performance pathways (1:30 p.m., led by Shannon Donovan of Football Canada), the Power of Sport (2 p.m., with Dr. Adrienne Leslie-Toogood) and concludes with a discussion of different ways to be involved in football (3:15 p.m.) including Heather Bury (equipment manager, Saskatoon Hilltops), along with athletic therapists Michelle Keene & Constance Millaire-Piché.

Sunday features a panel discussion from 7:30 to 9:05 p.m. The first half will cover coaching paths in football, led by Saadia Ashraf and Marci Halseth, while the evening concludes with a panel on career paths in football, with several women in administrative positions (Molly Campbell of the Calgary Stampeders, Laurence Pontbriand of the CFL, Natalie Agro of the University of Toronto and Katie Miyazaki of Football Canada).
