CJFL roundup: Rebels, Hilltops punch tickets to 2016 Canadian Bowl
With a third-straight Prairie Football Conference title, the Saskatoon Hilltops will make the trip to BC to take on the Westshore Rebels in the 2016 Canadian Bowl (Canadian junior football national championship). It’s a case of deja-vu for the Rebels’ franchise as they made their last appearance to the Canadian Bowl in 2003 against the Hilltops.
This year’s host will look to avenge a 2003 loss but will be in tough as the Hilltops are the two-time defending champions and have won national championships in the past six years.
