Football Canada 2025 Flag Football ID Camps
Football Canada is excited to announce the dates for our upcoming Flag Football Identification (ID) Camps as the next step in our 2025 Flag Football Pathway.
ID Camp Overview
These Identification camps will serve as the basis for the Selection Committee to identify promising talents nationwide, the other criteria will be based on:
- Physical attributes (assessed via Purpleshift app)
- Football proficiency (based on performance during 2023, 2024, and 2025 Football Canada Events, game tape reviews, and coaching insights)
- Synergy with the team’s systems and strategies
- Distinct qualities like coachability, leadership, and responsibility
ID Camp Schedule and Locations
- Toronto, Ontario: January 25, 2025
- Winnipeg, Manitoba: February 2, 2025
- Rigaud, Quebec: March 8, 2025
- Edmonton, Alberta: March 22, 2025
- Saint John, New Brunswick: March 30, 2025
- Saskatchewan & BC dates: To be confirmed

Who Should Attend?
The camps are open to athletes who are 17 years and older (born in 2008 or earlier).
How to Register
Registration is through Football Canada’s Teamlinkt: https://app.teamlinkt.com/register/find/footballcanada
Registration for the Toronto ID Camp (January 25) and Winnipeg ID Camp (February 2) is open – other ID camps will open at a later date.
What to Bring
- Cleats/shoes
- Shorts/Pants without pockets
- Football Gloves
- Water bottle
- Mouthguard
Jersey/Shirt for identification will be provided upon check-in and be required to be worn
