Football Canada celebrates National Coaches Week
Football Canada is thrilled to participate in the 10th anniversary of National Coaches Week from September 16-22, 2024, celebrating the important contributions of coaches to athletes and communities across Canada.
National Coaches Week is an annual campaign where Canadians are encouraged to say #ThanksCoach and recognize the integral role coaches play. This year Coaching Association of Canada is offering free eLearning modules to support coaches’ professional development. Coaches across the country can take advantage of these modules throughout the week by logging into The Locker, the CACs online coaching platform.
The schedule of free eLearning modules includes:
- September 16: NCCP Coach Initiation in Sport
- September 17: NCCP Creating a Positive Sport Environment
- September 18: NCCP Sport Nutrition
- September 19: NCCP Coaching Athletes with a Disability
All modules must be initiated on the day listed to take advantage of the free access.
Football Canada encourages athletes, parents, and fans to share their messages of appreciation by using the hashtags #ThanksCoach and #CoachesWeek on social media.
