Women’s National Team seeks applications for offensive and defensive coordinators

Job Description
Football Canada is accepting applicants for offensive and defensive coordinator positions for a period covering:
- 2016 Women’s National Championship (5 days).
- 2017 Women’s World Championship (June/July, 3 week commitment).
The coordinators will work closely with the head coach and Football Canada program development coordinator in identifying and selecting players.
The selected candidates will be responsible in providing a positive experience through their leadership of a competitive football program that values respect, teamwork and achievement.
Qualifications:
- Permanent Canadian resident.
- Member of Football Canada and their Provincial Sport Organization.
- Fully certified NCCP level III or in-training in the NCCP competition-Development context (Completion of Safe Contact, Making Headway in Football, Competition Development Making Ethical Decisions (MED) and 1 of the 6 multisport modules).
- Coached at an elite level (i.e. CFL, CIS, CJFL, CEGEP, senior women’s leagues, world championships, national championships, or provincial championships).
- Coach for at least a five year period.
- Proven record of experience in coaching events involving American football rules (i.e. exhibition games, exchanges, summer camps) considered an asset.
- Experience coaching females will be considered an asset.
